@Jahooka It depends where you go. A lot of hospitals won’t allow your husband/birth partner to stay with you while you get the epidural.
i was with my sister during her c-section!!!!!

The livestock industry contributed to more American deaths than all wars, natural disasters, and automobile accidents combined. ” you’d better live real close to a good hospital.

You all must not heard her.. She said being prepped for a c-section!! lol
the point of this video? yes, my husband was there for my epidural and my c-section
too bad if you were like me I went in and within two hours was on the theatre table fighting to save both our lives.
We got to the hosp had multiple tries at starting an IV 2 cervix checks made it to 9cm (yes in only 2 hours) and then had to have general anaesthetic and woke up just in time for my baby to be transfered to another hospital as he was 5 weeks early .
pregnancy Miracle
really miricle
What a horrible video. I would never want to have a baby in the hospital she works at. Her information was not accurate and does not speak for the policies of other hospitals. Ignore this idiotic video.
Hey, u guys r crazy, who comment abt this woman not giving proper info..if yer husbands were allowed to be there when u recieved an epi or a c-section, than that was really stupid of your docs coz it just reduces the degree of sterility n hygiene required for these procedures…
Not that its a very bad thing…but why do it knowingly when its not good for the mom n infant. The problem with u p’pol is that using the internet u guys think u knw more than the docs….who spend years in their resp fields!
@singingirl818 What u say is true…..but its always better to have the minimum no. of p’pol in a procedural room to maintain the sterile zones in an OR n a procedure room. I would advise u to first attend medical school before passing judgment on someone with great experience in their fields!!
@HearMyVoice384 I’v typed a comment which may be informative to u………….after that u may reconsider. Cya…………..Dr.Boomla
@shcaonta: It’s not rubbish to me. What she said is EXACTLY what happened to me when I went into the hospital to give birth to all 3 of my children. Only part that was different was that my husband stayed with me while I was getting my c sections. Maybe it’s different elsewhere? I’m sure all over it’s different.

u guys must not be paying attention to what she is saying… she said that your partner can be with you throughout the ENTIRE process except when you are PREPPED for a c-section, and when you are GIVEN an epidural. He can come back after these are done and stay with you until after birth.
No…..some people aren’t listening to the video correctly! she said the husband can’tbe in there while the wife is get PREPPED for the C-section in other words “he cant be there when the doctors are get her ready for the surgruy”. The husband can be there with her while she is have the C-section.
@briglls actually it depends on the hospital policy. many hospitals do not allow anyone into the OR when a woman is getting a c-section.
As a doula i’m begging you, PLEASE do the research yourself! find out what your local hospital’s policies are and come up with a birth plan that works for YOU! you can refuse service during labor if you feel like the procedures you’re being put through are unnecessary. if your hospital requires an IV you can ask for a Hep Block instead so you can freely move around without dragging tubes behind you.
Its good info. I am done having children. In regards to someone drinking when pregers. That is sick. I they have control about what they drink. What bitch is dead? Careful maybe someone in your family dies and you would not be talking in that manner child..
best tip is…..never go to the hospital!!! they’ll kill you
